This spring, find out who the fastest, smartest, most creative public relations students in the West are with a team-based competition. Tweets will fly and bad pitches will die as the best and brightest students in the College of Media & Communication compete to win the third annual TTU Public Relations Showdown.
This week-long competition highlights what public relations does best by putting students’ strategic communication skills to the test. Challenges will focus on research, strategy, writing, design and social media across a variety of practice areas such as sports, nonprofit, corporate, politics/government and crisis communication.
Who can participate?
Any College of Media & Communication major can participate by joining a student team of 3-5 students (but each team must include at least one public relations major!). Can’t find enough people to form your own team? We’ll help find one for you.

- Round 1: Four challenges (one each day from Mon., Feb. 27 – Thu., March 2). These are released online at high noon each day and due online by noon the next day.
